To say that breathing is not an important part of singing is the most insane thing I've ever heard. That's like saying learning how to skate is not important if you want to be a great hockey player. Breathing is the absolute QUINTESSENTIAL MUST for singing. If you want to get into singing serriously. I strongly suggest you learn propper breathing skills first and formost. Impropper breathing can and will lead to a long road of vocal damage and heart ache. I know this from personal experience

Think of breathing and breath control as gas in a car. I you don't have gas, you have no power to move your car. Sure everybody can breath to walk through your door and breath to live. But I guarentee that 99.9% of people and beginner singers are all chest breathers, and that's NO GOOD! BREATHING AND BREATH CONTROL ARE TO YOU YOUR VOCAL CHORDS, WHAT GAS IS TO A CAR. I wish the first few vocal coaches I went to had taught me propper breathing in the first place, wut a difrnce it would have made

After a rather successful career and still able to sing extrememly well in old age! LOL - If you ever do anything this guy says, I will spank you. This is why they tell you to beware of the frauds in the vocal teaching professions. Seriously Young Ones - this is all very dangerous to the voice - Thanks

This guy is clueless. Proper breath support is important not only for singing, but speaking as well. I've known people who held their breath or had reverse breathing and while they're still alive walking around, it's not conducive to a strong speaking or singing voice. This guy's full of it!

you guys don't understand this guy... he's always a little loosened up in the first part of the video, and then he goes into the serious second part... it's like that with every video and you guys are fucking slamming him when you didn't even check out the whole video

this guys right,u hav ta work on ur breathing if theres a problem with it.But if u wanna enhance ur singing capabilities to another level u sure have to work on breathing regardless of assuming u r good on breathing.
