It is most likely due to all of them. I was using the stock heads (Remo Ambassadors) roughly tuned, and through a digital camera on video mode. And i am shit too.

Don't know, sounds weird, propobly because of not so great quality of recording, and drums are like tuned a bit improperly, or not tuned at all...or maybe it's just fault of shitty drumheads...well beat is still quite cool tho'.

You are overthinking the beat and toms to much try relaxing it will be more grooving and also your dynamic

Thanks to everyone commenting. This video was posted two and a half years ago, but was recorded over 3 years ago. I appreciate all the positive feedback on how to improve, and it has all been taken on board. Hopefully i have been slowly improving thanks to it. Thank you :D

HA HA! Yeah neither could I. That was the only China i had at the time. It has been placed on my left just above my main Hi Hat for years now. I have a 16" China in the same place but lower now. Have a look at my newer videos and you will see dude. Thanx for the comment :D

Not bad.. The only thing I have an issue with is the placement of your china. It is so inconvenient. I could never play like that.
