Yes. Title says all, but I guess I have to get into very deep detail. The top games are based off gameplay and story. The List: 10-Chrono Cross (PSX) -Traditional overworld (Similar to CT in a way). Unique battle style which uses strategy upon attacks. With the wide variety of characters to choose, it allows the player to easily make a party of their appeal. A fantasizing storyline and like CT, allows the player to choose their pathway of the story. 9-Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX) -A great chess-like strategy game. I really liked this game because of that. Very basic overworld system, but it does the job. Great storyline of betrayals and hardships. 8-Seiken Densetsu 3 (SNES) -An epic and adventurous storyline. Plus the story, and the way the game looked, was a lot more serious than Secret of Mana. (I couldn't take that game seriously) Great real time battle system. Enabling the choice of choosing three main characters , and how each character had a different story, allowed this gameto constently entertain you. 7-Romancing SaGa (PS2) Like Seiken Densetsu 3, you can choose your main characters along with side characters This huge character arrangment allows the player's party have multiple varieties. An unusual, but surprisingly thrilling battle system allows a diversity of attacks. An adventure-like overworld. (I compare it to something like a pirate). Not much on story, but the gameplay is just beautiful. 6-Tales of Destiny 2 (Tales of Eternia) (PSX) First thing that I loved about this game was the comedy between the characters plus the wide range of mini-games in the game. The mini-games were highly addicting. There are also many small things that make this game entertaining. The battle system is a basic 2-d real time system, but with the variety of attacks, makes it more stratetic. A funny, but also serious storyline with a hint of love in it. 5-Golden Sun (GS:TLA as well) (GBA) -Like ToD2, this had lots of mini-games as well. The story had lots of comic relief to satisfy your funny bone. Basic choose attack then watch the battle, battle system. Also, with the dungeons consisting of puzzles, it makes the player think. Also with the Player Vs. Player compatibility, it was hard not to get tired of this game. 4-Chrono Trigger (SNES) -A fantasizing storyline of time, this game really gets the spot for my top. Like CC, the enabling of choosing which path of story you want to go through allows the payer to get tons of gameplay hours into the game. Funny comic refiels here and there. Lovable characters. CT has a really high stature in the RPG world. 3-Legend of Dragoon (PSX) -This game was some serious stuff. The storyline was intense and invigorating. Also with the interactive battle system, this game is no joke. The overworld was basic, but it didn't really make a big impact on the game. An imaginative story, it's no wonder I put this game this high on the list. (It literally took my 30 minutes to explain my reasoning for this game. My mind was left wordless trying to describe this game.) 2-Lunar : Silver Star Story: Complete(PSX) -One of the best RPG love stories ever. The gameplay is similar to GS, except the characters also roam around the screen. It's a little difficult describing the battle system. It's not free-roam, but the character does roam while the battle in happening... Well, the characters are also very lovable. Again with the storyline, it's extremely intriging. 1-Lufia : The Rise of the Sinistrals (SNES) -This action packed, brain thobbing RPG soars above all other RPGs. An intensified, but also extravagant storyline really touched me emotionally. A mix of a love story and action. Like GS, this game had puzzles too, but this one had more elaborate ones. Some were very frustrating, but made me feel like I was number one when I solved it. Basic overworld on land, air, and underwater, you can nearly go everywhere in this game. The line of characters were awesome. Plus the pet system was great. There wasn't a part on this game that didn't leave me unsatisfied. No Final Fantasy I/ II/ III/ IV/ V/ VI/ VII ect.? -I didn't put any FF I-XII because FF takes up too much of the spotlight. I let other games shine.

Well, the GBA was the system I played it in. NEver got my hands on the SNES version.

I would've included Final Fantasy IV the same way you did, but I would not have included the GBA version. That version, specifically, was poorly ported.

Legend of Dragoon was an excellent game.I never finsihed it unfortunatley becuase my PS2 was stolen way back when but,the game was really good.

yeah, I've found some great ones by chance, one I always want'd to play was FF Tactics, I had it but it was sealed, and I didn't wanna open it, got alot when I sold it for be'n sealed. I was looking some up, I also want to get the Arc the Lad Collection on PS, I loved Twilight of the spirits but wasn't a fan of End of Darkness, I think, I like'd the first on PS2 but not the second. There is so many I wanna play it's unreal to play them all trough.

Finding Lufia for me was coincidence. Happened to catch my eye at a local comic store behind the glass. Never really knew how rare it was until my friends told me it was.

no problem, there's so many, and so many are are so great, it's hard to play them all, exspessially how exspensive some are, and if you work the overtime to buy'em, you don't have the time to play'em. Like Lufia, it's one I want to play, same with Ogre for the snes, but I need to get'em first.

You're list is good, but I think there are some better games out there, Illusian of Gaia(snes) is one of my favorite games, also, my favorite FF's are the original, which kept them from go'n bankrupt and ending all other FF and other great rpg's, as well as the american FF2. Another great series, in my opinion is Wild Arms, I loved 3,4, and 5 well 5 for awhile, then it got boring. So I would have them on my top favorite list, but everyone's would be different, everyone has diff. opinions.
